OWINGS MILLS, MD — Needles, Inc. is proud to announce the promotions of Jesse Giguere to Director of Support and Bill Goodwin to Director of Conversions. Both Giguere and Goodwin have proven records of success at Needles, Inc.

Giguere has been with the company for thirteen years. Since joining Needles, Inc., he has taken on roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, Giguere was Technical Support Manager, leading the Technical Support Department and setting support goals and direction, always ensuring that Needles operates from a “client first” standpoint. In his new role, he will guide our team of training and technical support staff, set quality control parameters, and ensure that all staff are properly trained.

Goodwin has been with Needles, Inc. for four years. He has been instrumental in fine tuning the process of converting data from other programs into Needles. He developed a proven process of client communication and data manipulation to ensure that each client conversion is smooth. In his new role, Goodwin will set policies and processes for client data conversions.

Mrs. Bellusci will be responsible for overseeing business policies and practices, leading and supporting the organizational budgeting process, administering employee benefits, and helping to steer the direction of the Needles software products.

In her position as Director of Marketing, Bellusci was instrumental in positioning Needles, Inc. to become one of the leading providers of case management software for law firms. As the economy shifted and spending was reduced, she helped to develop effective client communication, increasing the prospective client base, increasing event attendance by more than 95%, and more than doubling website traffic.

Bellusci brings with her thirteen years of experience in Marketing, of which ten were with Needles, Inc. She holds a B.S. degree in English and Communications from Towson University.

OWINGS MILLS, MD – Needles Case Management Software debuted a new resource for clients that is designed to reduce and streamline case development time, and provide reports related to each case type. The firm’s “Client’s Only” website now features a comprehensive Case Type library.

Clients running the latest version of our software may download pre-set case type set ups into their own Needles system. Each case type comes with a pre-set Needles checklist, and most case types also come with documents and reports. Once downloaded, the case type may be modified to further to suit the firm’s needs.

This will enable clients to import the case type that they need into their Needles system. Document templates provided can be merged and incorporated into their own system.

This resource feature is one that will grow in response to industry growth and change. Current case type set ups available in the library include:

NEEDLES RELEASE 4.8.2 PROVIDES ACCOUNTABILITY TRACKING ON ITEMS, EXPANDED REPORTING AND CONFLICT CHECKING

OWINGS MILLS, MD -Needles Case Management Software released version 4.8.2, a new version with accountability features such as auditing capabilities, easier user-defined report libraries tracking, expanded options for sorting reports and data, and additional conflict checking capabilities.

Needles now has the ability to track who created an item and when it has been created or modified for the following important fields: Names (Parties and Providers), Notes (Case, Value, and Provider), Case Tab, Value Tab items and Calendar items.

As new items are created or modified for these five areas, the system will keep track of who was responsible for these transactions. Needles will also store information for integrated applications, for example, Outlook, QuickBooks, Juris, and TimeSlips, when the application creates or modifies information in Needles in the Names, Value and Calendar areas.

Two additional benefits of Release 4.8.2 for Needles Case Management Software include expanded checklist sorting, which enables law offices to search cases by status and then by due date, and conflict checking on Social Security Numbers. Duplicate Social Security numbers entered in the system will generate and alert notification that the number is already in use, and by whom.

Needles Case Management Software has also expanded user defined report writing capabilities within their library files regarding transactional capabilities and report generation.

GROWTH SPURS CHANGES AT NEEDLES CASE MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE

OWINGS MILLS, MD — There have been a lot of change at Needles Case Management Software. In October, 2008, Bryan Billig, who is now the firm’s President and CEO, replaced the founder and previous CEO, Burt Bank. Mr. Bank, the founder of Needles, has been a long time mentor of Mr. Billig and the two have enjoyed a long business association. To assist in the transition period, Burt Bank has continued with the firm in a consultant capacity.

At the end of 2008, the company name, Chesapeake Interlink, Ltd was changed to Needles to reflect the new ownership. Business has been good and the firm has been growing consistently. To accommodate this growth, Needles has recently expanded its Owings Mills, MD headquarters so that they can offer a full service training facility and accommodate additional staff members and provide educational seminars. Needles now has expanded into a neighboring office, effectively doubling the office space.

The additional space will accommodate several new staff members as well as provide a state of the art training facility for client in-house trainings and seminars. The ability to add additional staff members allows Needles to hire additional programming staff to speed development and keep Needles on the cutting edge.

Needles, the customizable case management software for the legal profession, has expanded their investment in law office software education by launching an onsite, full service training facility. In 2009 the company expanded their headquarters in order to meet the needs of their growing business with plans to develop a state of the art training and educational facility to better serve their clients.

By providing a dedicated training environment, Needles can better provide both educational seminars and training to clients. The new facility can accommodate training sessions of up to 25 people in a quiet setting and allows for product and client demonstrations.

The Needles training room features wireless Internet access, a large screen for program demonstrations, individual work station computers, a refreshment area for breaks, and access to in-house staff members for questions and interaction.

Also included is a time-tracking module and bidirectional interface with QuickBooks® accounting software, enabling clients to track, record and update case expense information from within their Needles case management program. Synchronizing capabilities will include data transfer to handheld devices such as a Blackberry, Palm Pilot, or Pocket PC.
